Red Bud Industries builds Heavy Gage Cut-To-Length Lines to process material thicknesses up to 1/2" (12.7 mm) at material widths up to 96" (2,438 mm) and coil weights up to 80,000 lb (36,287 kg) or up to 5/8" (16 mm) at widths up to 72" (1,829 mm). Designed to process even the worst Hot Roll Black Material, the lines can be configured in several different variations.
All the lines incorporate our Heavy Gage Entry System, Shear, and Exit System. The remainder of the system can be structured to include standard Roller Levelers, our Heavy Gage Straightener and In–Line Stretcher Leveler, or any combination of these components.
Stretcher leveling produces the flattest, most stable material possible, virtually independent of incoming strip shape and severity. Because stretcher leveling exceeds the yield in all of the material top to bottom and side to side, the process produces flat material that is significantly more stable than any other

product. Stretcher leveling will produce better results than a Temper Mill and will significantly outperform any other type of leveling process. Stretcher Levelers are also much easier to operate than any other types of Levelers. The operator simply stretches the material until it is flat.
The lines can also be designed to include our Heavy Gage Servo Hydraulic Grip Feed System to provide unsurpassed length and width tolerances when running material up to 5/16" (8 mm) in a deep loop.
