Red Bud Industries recently completed the installation of a 14 gage Precision Blanking Line at H & D Steel Service, Inc. (www.hdsteel.com) near Cleveland, Ohio. H & D Steel Service, Inc.’s new line will primarily be used to process mark free stainless steel and aluminum blanks.

“H & D Steel Service, Inc. is pleased to now offer tight tolerance, precision blanks with ±.005" (.127 mm) length tolerances at production speeds up to 120 FPM, (37 MPM)” said Tim Roarty of Red Bud Industries. “Their new Red Bud Line is up and running, and they are ready to take orders.”

H & D Steel Service, Inc.’s new Red Bud Precision Blanking Line features Red Bud’s patented Motorized Grip Feed System. This system has the ability to deliver tight tolerance thanks to a Measuring System that measures a fixed distance between feed stops instead of measuring the material itself. The Red Bud Grip Feed System uses specially designed grippers to process surface critical material without marking.

The new Precision Blanking Line at H & D Steel Service, Inc. is built to handle coils up to 60" (1524 mm) in width and weights up to 20,000 lb (9072 kg). The line consists of a Coil Lift, Peeler, Straightener, Motorized Grip Feed System, Shear, Drop Stacker, and Side Discharge Conveyors.
