Jemison Demsey Metals has installed their third Red Bud Multi-Cut Blanking Line. The .135" (3.4 mm) 72" (1,829 mm) line was installed at their Sumter, South Carolina, service center location.

The new line features Red Bud’s patented Dual Motor Grip Feed System that consistently delivers ±.005" (.127 mm) length tolerances and their CNC Programmable Slitter featuring “Quick Loc”

technology. The line also comes equipped with a complete Coil Stage & Load System, Uncoiler, Peeler Breaker, Crop Shear, Pop-Up Flatness Inspection Table, Film Applicator, Thread System, Scrap Winder, Shear, Automatic Strip Stacker, and Automatically Lowering Stack Table with Rollouts. It will process .135" (3.4 mm) thick, 72" (1,829 mm) wide, 60,000 lb (27,216 kg) coils.
