Raco Steel Company recently installed their second Red Bud Multi-Blanking Line at their Markham, Illinois, facility. The 72" (1,829 mm) wide .135" (3.43 mm) line processes coils up to 50,000 lb (22,680 kg).

The line includes Red Bud’s patented Dual Motor Grip Feed System that consistently delivers ±.005" (.127 mm) length tolerances. The line also features their CNC Programmable Slitter with push button “Quick Loc” knives. It

also comes equipped with a combination Drop Stacker/Strip Stacker that features an Automatic Strip Divider Positioning System.

The line consists of a Coil Stage & Load System, Uncoiler, Peeler, Crop Shear, “Pop Up” Flatness Inspection Table, Motorized Grip Feed System, CNC Programmable Slitter, Shear Mounted Stacker with Drop Stack/Air/Strip Stacker System, Part Diverter, and Auto Strip Stacker.
