| Arcelor Stainless Processing LLC Purchases Red Bud Precision Blanking Line |
Arcelor Stainless Processing LLC, part of the ArcelorMittal group, recently purchased a new Red Bud Precision Blanking Line for their processing plant in the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights, Michigan. The new line will be built and assembled by Red Bud Industries at their Red Bud, Illinois, plant and is scheduled to ship in April of 2008.
Featured in the line will be a Dual Motor Grip Feed System, “Pop-Up” Flatness Inspection Table, and a Machine Concepts', Minster, Ohio Leveler with AutoFlat shape correction. AutoFlat is a patented Leveler control system that
| | reads the shape of the strip as it leaves the Leveler and automatically adjusts roll bending to achieve and maintain flatness.
The line will process coils up to 60" (1,524 mm) wide with weights up to 40,000 lb (18,144 kg) and will consist of a Coil Stage & Load System, Uncoiler, Peeler Breaker, Crop Shear, Machine Concepts’ Leveler, “Pop-Up” Flatness Inspection Table, Film Applicator, “Hands Free” Thread System, Dual Motor Grip Feed, Shear, Drop Stacker/Diverter, Part Diverter, and Stack Table.
