Purchasing Agent


Job Description
•Obtain Quotations for pricing on purchased parts and services
•Order purchased parts and services as required
•Assist other departments with purchasing
•Notify Supervisor if purchased parts are not received on-time or services are not provided on schedule
•Assist with follow-up correspondence on purchased parts and services
•Maintain Inventory
•Check quality on new supply items
•Review and Approve bills, as necessary, for payment
•Assist with Warranty procedures
•Distribute Mail
•Miscellaneous duties as required

Qualifications
•Associates Degree or equivalent or 3 years’ experience in a similar environment, open to new graduates
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Excellent planning, organizational and written and verbal communication skills
•Strong ability to multi-task
•Ability to work well with others, team player
•Positive, detail-oriented personality
