As a worldwide leader of Coil Processing Equipment, Red Bud Industries is known for pioneering, developing, and producing state-of-the-art Processing Equipment. In order to build our Equipment, we rely heavily on skilled individuals that are trained in the latest technologies (engineering, PLC programming, hydraulics, etc.). In 2009, to help support our industry and as part of the celebration of Red Bud Industries’ 65th Anniversary, we established two annual scholarships, one to Ranken Technical College for $5,800 and one to Southwestern Illinois College for $3,000. In 2022, three additional SWIC scholarships for $1,000 were created specifically for students graduating from Red Bud, Sparta, Chester, Christ Our Savior and Career Center of Southern Illinois (CCSI). The scholarships are open to first year students who have been accepted for admission into Ranken Technical College or who are attending SWIC for the fall semester. These scholarships are just one of the ways we invest in the next generation and raise awareness of the great careers in manufacturing.
