Our Heavy Gauge Cut-To-Length Lines with capacities up to 1″ (25 mm), widths up to 96″ (2438 mm), and coil weights up to 90,000 lb (41,000 kg). The new video also features our 3000 ton Stretcher Leveler with our SUREGRIP® clamping system. This system allows HRP&O and other hard to grip material to be run without slippage or having to change the gripper pads. The non-slip grippers can also be used for up to a year or longer without needing to be replaced. In some instances, the same pads have been used for as long as five years before being replaced for the first time. Our units also feature Quick Draw technology that makes them the world’s fastest Stretcher Levelers. Even our largest units have cycle times that are less than eight seconds from the time the material stops to the time it starts moving again.
Our Heavy Gauge Lines can also run material up to .375″ (9.5 mm) in a deep loop. This allows the material to be run significantly faster than what is possible in start/stop mode. In some instances, material run in a loop while being stretched will run up to twice as fast as the same material run in start/stop mode. Our Heavy Gauge High Speed Shears are also equipped with “Switch Blade” technology. Quick change knife cassettes reduce blade changes to just a few minutes. The Shear also automatically sets the knife clearance and has the ability to automatically adjust the angle of the Shear in order to improve the squareness tolerance of the cut parts.
